감히 손을 대기가 두려웠지만,
동시에 언젠가는 나만의 시선으로 풀어보고 싶었던 곡이기도 했습니다.
The cultural weight of “Hotel California” is immense—
almost intimidating to reinterpret.
But I always wanted to approach it from a more personal lens, someday.
이번 영상은 ‘뮤직비디오’라기보다는
한 편의 작은 시네마,
아니면 오래된 추억에 대한 엽서 같은 감각을 담고 싶었습니다.
This isn’t so much a music video—
It’s more like a cinematic postcard from a memory that never happened.
🎙 제작 의도 | Creative Intent
"Welcome to Hotel California...
No check-in, just checkin’ on each other.”
이 멘트에서 시작됐습니다.
It all began with that single line.
진짜 호텔이 아닌, 마음으로 들르는 곳.
지친 하루 끝에 아무 말 없이 머무를 수 있는 공간.
A hotel that doesn’t exist—except in our hearts.
A quiet space to rest at the end of a long day,
no questions asked.
그런 정서를 그려보고 싶었습니다.
That’s the feeling I wanted to capture.
🛣️ 상상 속 호텔 | The Imaginary Hotel
장소는?
낡았지만 깨끗한, 2025년의 오래된 로드사이드 카페.
간판엔 Hotel California라고 적혀 있지만,
실은 커피도 팔고, 가끔 음악도 흐르는
누구든 머무를 수 있는 ‘쉼터’입니다.
The place?
A weathered but tidy roadside café in 2025.
The sign says Hotel California,
but it’s more of a rest stop with coffee, music,
and a place to simply stay awhile.
사람들은?
노인, 젊은 커플, 지나가던 라이더,
기타를 맨 떠돌이까지.
모두 다른 이유로 이곳에 들렀지만
이상하게도 어울리는 사람들입니다.
The people?
An old man, a young couple, a biker passing through,
and a traveler with a guitar.
They came for different reasons,
but somehow—
they all fit here.
무대는?
카페 한쪽에 자리한 작은 나무무대.
조명이 켜지면 누군가 기타를 꺼내고
조용히 노래가 시작됩니다.
The stage?
A small wooden platform in the corner of the café.
Someone switches on the lights.
The music begins—quietly.
🎸 음악 스타일 | Music Style
전반적으로 여유로운 템포로
기타 톤을 따뜻하게 정비하고
보컬 역시 ‘이야기하듯’ 흘러가도록 구성했습니다.
I kept the tempo relaxed,
with warm guitar tones and a vocal line that flows like spoken memory.
불필요한 장식이나 고조는 줄이고
담백하게 곡의 여운만 남기는 방향으로요.
No grand flourishes—
just a song that lingers softly after it ends.
🌙 마무리 장면 | Closing Scene
영상 후반엔
모두가 조용히 머물다 떠나는 장면이 이어집니다.
길 위의 빛, 달빛, 기타 여운.
그리고 다시 조용해진 호텔.
In the final scenes, everyone quietly leaves.
The road glows.
The moon listens.

And the hotel returns to silence.
이곳은 실제로 존재하지 않지만
언제든 마음으로 다시 찾아올 수 있는
